When TED envisioned creating TED Courses, a platform combining their hallmark world-class speakers and innovative educational content, in collaboration with Colours and Shapes & tmpl Studio was entrusted to contribute to bringing this vision to life. Our objective was to create content that was not just educational but also globally resonant and inspiring.
Our collaboration with TED was marked by significant achievements. We successfully navigated a tight six-week timeframe, showcasing our adaptability and efficiency. Our involvement played a pivotal role in crafting a narrative that was educational yet engaging, global yet personal.
The TED Courses project was a complex endeavor, involving extensive content development and meticulous production coordination. Our team managed multi-location filming across diverse locations including Nara Japan, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Nairobi, highlighting our capability in handling intricate logistical challenges. The simultaneous filming in San Francisco and Nairobi was particularly notable, showcasing our expertise in managing synchronized projects across different time zones. This project was a clear reflection of tmpl Studio's core values - imagination, impact, empathy, and adaptability, all coming together to create an educational masterpiece that transcends boundaries.
